Practical, evidence-informed support to help you function better in everyday life — on your terms.
If you've been diagnosed with ADHD — or you're waiting on a diagnosis — you might already know what the challenges look like: the half-finished tasks, the missed appointments, the constant sense that you're working harder than everyone else just to keep up.
Occupational therapy can help. Not by fixing you — but by helping you understand how your brain works, and building strategies that actually fit your life.
Medicare rebates available — ask your GP for a Mental Health Care Plan referral
In-person in Hobart (162 Macquarie Street) or via telehealth
Neuro-affirming, strengths-based approach

This program is designed for adults (18+) who:
You have a recent ADHD diagnosis and don't know where to start
You've known about your ADHD for years but still feel stuck
You're struggling with organisation, time management, or daily routines
Emotional overwhelm or sensory sensitivities are affecting your work or relationships
You want practical strategies — not just a label
You're ready to work on specific goals at your own pace
You have co-occurring anxiety, depression, or trauma alongside ADHD
You've tried other supports but felt they didn't 'get' how your brain works
You want a collaborative approach — not being told what to do
You're looking for support that fits around your work or study commitments
Telehealth suits your lifestyle better than in-person
You're neurodivergent and want a clinician experienced with complex presentations

Occupational therapists look at the gap between what you want or need to do, and what's actually happening in your day-to-day life. For adults with ADHD, that gap can show up in a lot of ways.
An OT won't tell you to try harder or make a better to-do list. Instead, we:
Assess how ADHD is specifically affecting your daily functioning
Explore how your sensory system, nervous system, and emotions interact with ADHD
Help you set meaningful, realistic goals — using a structured goal-setting framework
Build personalised strategies for the things that matter most to you
Work alongside your GP, psychiatrist, or psychologist if you have an existing care team
This is a strengths-based approach. We start from what's already working, and build from there.

Not necessarily. We can discuss your situation at an initial enquiry. In some cases, an OT assessment can also contribute to a broader diagnostic process in conjunction with your GP or psychiatrist.
Yes — telehealth sessions are available across Australia. All sessions work just as well online, and some clients find them easier to fit into their week.
Psychologists focus on thoughts, emotions, and mental health diagnoses. Psychiatrists manage medication and diagnosis. Occupational therapists focus on function — how you actually live your daily life. We work on the practical, day-to-day impact of ADHD, and complement rather than replace other supports.
Alice has extensive experience with complex co-occurring presentations — including anxiety, depression, trauma histories, autism, chronic pain, and hypermobility. You don't need to have 'just' ADHD to benefit from this program.
Get in touch via the contact form, email, or phone. We'll have a brief conversation about what you're looking for and whether this program is a good fit.
Whether you're newly diagnosed or have been managing ADHD for years, you deserve support that actually
fits the way your brain works.
